Richer tune for higher compression
Webb9 juli 2024 · According to Champion Spark Plugs, for normally aspirated, gasoline-fueled engines, a good rule of thumb is to go about one heat range colder for each full point in compression ratio increase... Webb31 jan. 2024 · In a normally aspirated drag racing engine with 5 to 1 AFR, over 20 percent extra fuel is supplied for cooling. In contrast, during our drag racing days we ran an AFR …

Therefore they have high flow heads and intake ports, large duration intake cams, and high compression pistons. You can make those work with boost if you have knock resistant fuel (E85, race fuel) or if you have a big turbo meant for high rpm, or preferably both. Look at a modern Honda …

Air/Fuel … Webb19 dec. 2008 · On naturally aspirated engines, the higher compression acts more like the "high temp" graph here due to the increase in adiabatic compression. Since many N/A …
Webbhigher RPM is that it has compression only ignition, so there is no way to increase the effective ignition advance. How this is achieved The distributor as fitted to conventional … Webb15 apr. 2013 · Higher comp improves off boost driving and spool time but those motors really dont have issues on low comp and spooling turbos. I dont see a need to go higher than 10.5:1 for boost. 9-10:1 is fine with ls motors. So many guys running truck take outs at well over 600 whp at 9.5-10.0:1 comp just fine.

However, it's not ALL good. 北海道アグリネットワークWebb8 dec. 2024 · In California, our overpriced pump premium sells for roughly $3.60 per gallon while E85 sells for $2.20. Blend those two together to create a 50-50 mix and you get 3.60 + 2.20 / 2 = $2.90 per gallon. What we’ve just created is a 96-octane fuel that costs less than 91-octane ($2.90 vs $3.60). That saves $14 for 20 gallons of fuel. azure ad グループ 種類Webb30 aug. 2010 · Going richer or leaner than that will reduce temperatures. A homogeneous charge spark ignition engine will however be uncapable to use very lean mixtures. When a spark ignition engine go very lean, combustion speed will slow down which increase exhaust temperature, HC emissions and reduce efficiency. azure ad グループ ライセンス
