WebAn EHC needs assessment is a detailed exploration to find out what your child’s special educational needs are and what provision should be put into place to meet them. It is the step before an Education, Health and Care Plan (often known simply as a ‘plan’), but doesn’t always lead to a plan being written. WebIPSEA's template letter states to send them to the Director of Children's Services however we would advise to send them to the appropriate SEN Team. It is important to note that the template letters in this section are not fully accessible due to the specific need.
