Conversely, if the contractor's actual costs overrun the cost target, the owner may deduct a portion of the cost overrun from the contractor's fee. WebFPI(F) are part of the "fixed price" family of contracts. This means it should include what is known as a "default clause," according to FAR 52.249-8 through FAR 52.249-10.
