WebDoesn't seem to be that way. EGS seems to add the game to your R* account for a limited time. If I install the Rockstar Launcher only, and log in with my account, RDR2 won't be there. But if then install EGS, and launch it from there, it pops up on the Rockstar Launcher. But ultimately, yes. The game files are all the same.
